It was my first haunt experience, and I startle very easily, so I was prepared to be terrified. But the whole experience was really underwhelming. I wasn't spooked at all, nor were my friends, and we even laughed once or twice. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to be scared. However, if you want to try out a haunt experience but don't really want to be scared, this could be a nice way to dip your toes in. Separately from the haunt, I've gone to the Gaines Farm corn maze during the day almost every year, and I love it every time. Definitely head over there if you're looking for a fun Vermont autumn experience!
