Kraken's Revenge at Kelpstone NarrowsPuzzle Theory - MiddletownEscape roomIRLThis was a great addition to the Puzzle Theory Group. We had high expectations as PT has continuously impressed us, and they were met! A bit different than any other room in terms of concept, but a different theme was nice. The room was linear, but not too linear where it was boring. Not a “put every piece in hole” escape. There was a continuous movement of the story line which kept us engaged. Absolutely recommend
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - DanburyEscape roomIRLThe idea of this room is really great, but not well executed. We are relatively seasoned and know where to look in the “odd” spots, but this just was not it. Even the clues given were more riddles. We spent a lot of time doing the same thing as the clue given was what we already had in place. The flashlights given were almost an annoyance rather than a benefit. The music was also so loud that we didn’t hear part of next steps of the game. We were more frustrated than anything
The Carnivals Golden TicketNo EscapeEscape roomIRLThis game was cute, but for experienced players it was quite boring. Again, a very linear puzzle. There were more puzzles in this room vs casino heist, but again, just a lot of “get the number and open the lock” for the next task.
Casino HeistNo EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is a “mom and pop” type game room with extremely linear play. There were only 2 of us, and when one was working on something the other had nothing to do. Lots of locks vs puzzles opening the next steps. I’d recommend this if you are BRAND NEW to escape rooms. If you have done even a few, I’d pass on these as you’ll be bored.
