The Skull WitchEnchambered Live Escape Room AdventureEscape roomIRLHonestly, I'm genuinely surprised we escaped 🤣 literally down to the last second it felt! Some nice, unique puzzles. I do agree there felt like a little lack of direction with not knowing when stuff would be needed, but the hint system didn't hesitate to help. I do feel like the hint system was a little buggy, giving us hints for puzzles we had already completed. Overall, though, the room was very good and very atmospheric and on theme. A little more spooky than I typically care for, but I would still recommend it!

The Sorcerer and The Fountain of HopeBreak Through RenoEscape roomIRLOverall, we had a fun time and the room was immersive. Of the two we've done at GSR, this is definitely the better of the two, probably because we did it with fewer people. It felt very linear so I'd probably do the rest of the rooms at this location just myself and my husband if we were to find ourselves wanting to play rooms. As others have stated, some of the room is in disrepair which kind of takes away from the experience (in one instance, it made it hard to find the puzzle. In another, it made it easy to figure out what parts weren't needed for a puzzle.). The GMs were kind enough, however, it took them way too long to realize that we were missing a piece of paper we needed in one part, although they did give us time back which was cool of them. There were also two parts in the very beginning (puzzles like 2 and 3) that I wouldn't realllllly classify as "puzzles" that just took us too long to figure out due to it being more mechanical and not really puzzley. Once we got past those, though, we did pretty well getting through the room (despite not escaping on expert mode, we were about three puzzles away).
Golden TicketKey and Code Escape Rooms - Reno Costco CenterEscape roomIRLThe first room was a little frustrating, but I enjoyed the rest! My husband and I are seasoned so we busted through a lot of it quickly, but it was accessible for the rest of our group who are not as seasoned. It was actually kind of a great room to bring inexperienced people in in a larger group as we were able to divide and conquer. It was frustrating that some of the puzzles (at least one of the ones I did on my own) were broken and they knew it was broken. I feel like that should have been stated up front or when someone was working on it or something. It didn't really hinder me but it did have me scratching my head for a minute. All in all, would recommend, especially for families with younger people or inexperienced people.
