    This location certainly spent a lot on set design and tech, but could learn a lot about what makes a GOOD escape room. Too many red herrings; puzzles that require dexterity and waste time getting JUST right; and dismissive staff. They also do not answer their phone here, or answer email. (Even though multiple staff members hang out doing nothing in the bar area.) If you’re wondering, the games are now private (which is not listed on their website).

    This is a great room for experienced players! We didn’t escape with two people, but they gave us a little extra time and we got out. This location is one of my absolute favorite escape game companies.

    A puzzle solved itself, obviously broken. Staff dismissed our concern as “sometimes that happens.” I would not recommend this room for experienced escapists.

    This was a lot of fun for two experienced players. I didn’t mind it was only 45 mins. They packed in enough stuff to do, so it doesn’t feel like a shorter game.

    Gamemaster had to come in twice: once because a magnet didn’t work on a box, and another with a stick to get something from the ceiling. This was the fourth room we did with this company today, and this was the fourth room the gamemaster had to come in because stuff was broken.

    Owner asked us if we liked the game when we finished. We said we didn’t. He asked what part we didn’t like. He told us that was dumb because it takes 30 seconds. We said no, more like 5 minutes. He started arguing with us even more and getting really angry. We moved to get out of the room, and he blocked the door and wanted to fight with my husband. He took it as my husband was trying to “belly up” to him, whatever that means. The owner then tried to hold the front door closed to yell at us some more. I’ve done over 230 escape rooms and never had this happen. An owner trying to start a fight with my husband. Don’t ask for criticism if you don’t want it.

    The clue system took a long time (over 3 minutes for some clues), so we were never sure if staff knew we wanted a hint or not while we stood around waiting. I appreciate that the owner’s mother who works there supports her daughter, but taking our feedback as “well, we’ve won awards” and “then let me just refund your next room” is not helpful.
