Cabin In The WoodsJust EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room was okay at best. The game play did have its positive moments, and I appreciated the use of the five senses. However, certain things in the room could have had better design. A part of the room broke while we were completing a puzzle, and upon trying to notify the game master that we couldn’t complete the puzzle, he simply replied “I can’t” and did not come to help fix the puzzle, nor did he offer a few added minutes for the mistake. Along with that, the game master was not unpleasant, but he did talk down to us & was overall arrogant. I don’t remember if he said his name, but he did say he was a manager. He was more interested in bragging about the difficulty of the room instead of taking accountability for what was broken/not working. Overall, the room was fine for what it was, but we were unimpressed and probably would not return.
