35 escape rooms

I thought this was a pretty good room. It had classic escape room puzzles that made sense. I thought the start of the room was my favorite as it was relatively unique and set the tone for the whole game. Lots of red herrings but that only added to our enjoyment when we escaped. Played with two players, received 3 hints (that confirmed we were doing the right thing each time but with small oversights), and got out with 5 minutes to spare. I think this is a great starter room for someone. Not scary, just typical serial killer environment. Would recommend to newbies or to experienced escapists who want to try to get out fast with no hints.

Pretty good room for folks who can’t crouch or crawl

Very rough for deaf/hard of hearing as the game starts blindfolded. Although it’s dimly lit, they provide a small flashlight so it wasn’t too bad for us

I think this is the best room that Unity offers. The puzzles had a good flow to them and were challenging enough to make you think. I think this is a good starter room as well.

I did it with 3 other people and I think it could’ve been done with just 2 people that are more experienced.

It was better than the first one and I’ll give it that. But man this was rough from top to bottom. Probably had a lot to do with our GM being really uninterested, she even just walked in at one point? Just bizarre

During our second game play, we thankfully had a new game master. She lifted our spirits, but we had the reverse problem with her. She kept shouting out clues without us asking. It’s a strange experience when you’re focusing on a puzzle and the walkie talkie is chatting away in the next room. This time, we beat their room, but it was frustrating half way through when she stopped us to explain how to reset a lock because she forgot to explain it at the beginning. It ate up our time. At the end, we were staring at the final puzzle, believing we had the wrong combination because nothing happened. After half a minute the box finally popped open. I think the game masters need a lot more training. Everything tells you not to touch, don’t peel, don’t lift, don’t move and there are a lot of red herrings. There’s zero immersion here. I couldn’t tell you why I was locked in the cabin and if you asked me where I was stuck, I would have never guessed a cabin. I’ve played some bad rooms, but the game masters make up for it. Unfortunately, this was just bad all around.
