This is a great high tech room. There is more than enough to do, we did it with 2 people and only made it out because the GM gave us an extra 3 minutes! It's possible with 2 people but you have to keep moving! The only negative I would say with this room is that it's too high tech. I like a blend of puzzles, some tech and some mechanical, this room is all high tech. It is done very well, everything worked and the GM was very nice and knowledgeable.

I really enjoyed this room! While it is not the most expansive or over the top room, the intricacy and multitude of puzzles within 60 minutes made this room a lot of fun. For a small group, this was very challenging. There were a lot of puzzles and we had to move pretty quickly to make it all the way to the end.
Personally, my favorite thing about escape rooms are challenging but doable puzzles and this room had so many of them! As an experienced group, we really enjoyed this room and found the flow to be really solid. If you are new to escape rooms, the gameplay of this room may feel more challenging than other options out there.
The setting was fairly industrial but it made sense for the theme of the room. This room is relatively small and there arenβt an excess amount of rooms to discover.
The game master was kind and helped us throughout the room. The digital hint board also worked well. Keep in mind that this particular room has a hint limit of 5 which is different from the unlimited hints at most other locations.
The dystopian/cyber theme for the room is similar to some themes Iβve done before but the gameplay and puzzles were unique enough to keep my attention.
Even if Iβve seen similar stories before, this was still effective and enjoyable.
Hard
The puzzles themselves werenβt excessively hard BUT the multitude of puzzles within the room would make this game challenging for beginners or small groups. This difficulty level was amplified by the limited number of hints (5) and the fact that there are no writing supplies in the room so memory/communication is imperative.
High tech
There were no physical locks in this room.

The space is large enough for a decent sized group. With our small group, it was challenging but doable to remember long combinations. Additionally, the types of puzzles vary a lot so it would be ideal to have a larger group.

This room is not scary but the level of difficulty should be taken into consideration before bringing younger participants into this room.
Yes
Nothing was necessarily broken but some of the technology didnβt work on our first try. There were a couple of times that we had to input codes multiple times in order to trigger the next stage of the room.

At least one member of the party must be able to kneel.
The majority of this game takes place in a decent sized, open space. Some sections of the room are a bit more cramped but for the most part, people with mobility restrictions should be able to participate in this room (understanding that 1+ people in the group must be able to kneel and move within more cramped areas). Additionally, two puzzles used color. At the beginning of this room, there is a sequence of flashing lights BUT before the room began, the game master checked in with us to make sure that we were okay with it. I would assume that this portion of the room could be deactivated in accordance with the participants requests.

If you check the email after booking the room, it gives you clear instructions about where to enter and where to go once inside. There arenβt any obvious signs outside of the building.

This escape room runs really smoothly and has a pretty good flow and rhythm to it. I personally am not as huge of a fan of the more cold and industrial setting and look, but the production values are pretty good. At one point, we solved a puzzle too early and it wouldn't trigger until we got further into the room which was frustrating since we thought we did it wrong. Outside of that, it's a pretty good standard escape room with some intuitive puzzles.

This room is very unique, featuring high tech puzzles with great variety and some unique elements. There are a good number of puzzles so even for experienced players, 2 people might not be able to escape in time. We really loved one of the element in the middle of the game that really elevated the level of the setting to the next level. Definitely recommend for players with some experience!

10/10, the best room my group and i have ever done considering 50+ rooms in nyc. It is hard so you need 4+ ppl. Still, very well done. Nothing you can fault. Has some of the most unique tech ive seen.

Great atmosphere, wonderful game masters. The puzzles were pretty hard, and you have a clue limit of 5. Managed to complete with one other person but with no time to spare. It has a storyline that if you want to see how it ends, it is in another location.

Great and challenging room. The puzzles were all very unique and multi layered. Our group of three pretty well versed escapers were defenitly challenged by this room ( in the best way)

We fell short of escaping Carbon: 3708 at Mission Escape Games in NYC. With only two of us, this high-tech room proved to be quite a challenge. From the video introductions and light sequences to the electronic puzzles and a surprising twist before entering the second room, the technology was truly impressive. The futuristic design was also well-executed. However, we encountered a few roadblocks where we were completely stumped and needed hints from the gamemaster. We used all five of the available clues, but still couldn't crack the code in time. Tip: If you're planning on tackling this room, bring a bigger team! There were several puzzles that required a lot of back and forth with just the two of us

In a non-descript high rise in Manhattan, no signage on building to know you're in the right place other than street number

This was a fun game. It was definitely difficult and had good use of the space, but seemed a bit worn.

βThe set, lighting, and interaction design were among the finest ... the puzzle play was phenomenal.β
