Fun but small room. As fans of fantasy and D&D we really enjoyed the theming but a few of the puzzles are a little out there and we needed some hints to get on track. Overall we had a great time though!

An adequate experience that’s probably good for beginners that haven’t played many (or any) escape rooms. For anyone that’s played around 5-10, you might get a nagging feeling a lot was left to be desired. It’s by no means a bad room. It was good, until it kind of wasn’t, but then it got good again…kinda. And well…then it hits some more hiccups. By now we’ve played our fair share of magic, medievil and high fantasy rooms. And we’ve also kind of seen most every trope associated with each room utilizing these themes. While the room is quite nice from a design and decor standpoint and setting a cozy vibe quite quickly, it suffers greatly in the puzzle and flow department. The issue(s) lies in a lot of the logic being unintuitive, and a lot of the puzzles being mostly…not very engaging. There are enough interesting, fun and creative ones that at least make it not a total wash, but they are peppered few and far in between every other laborious and uninteresting task. If you’re newer to escape rooms, I’d say go for it. It’s not a bad experience, but you will look back fondly on it to see how far you’ve come. This is a satisfactory experience with enough interesting stuff going on to make most people happy. Unfortunately, we know Escape Goat closes later this month, as will this room along with their others. So if you’re interested and in the area, go sooner than later.
Its weakest area. Most puzzles are unintuitive or boring.

Good, interesting room, with some very clever puzzles. It says that it’s their hardest room, and it is HARD. We were a group of two, and only just escaped! I definitely recommend it if the theming is something that appeals to you. I personally didn’t love the theming, but that’s purely personal, and I imagine it’s brilliant for people who like LotR, D&D, game of thrones etc. overall, I really enjoyed the level of thinking and puzzle-solving that was required.

Somebody who worked on this room is a fan of D&D, is all I’m saying (and I approve). This was a fun room with a couple of genuinely surprising moments including one lighting effect that I absolutely did not see coming. It is a bit dark in places and we needed some help reading things. Very solid and enjoyable puzzles. The story isn’t particularly unusual (retrieve an artifact from a mystic workshop), but it is presented lovingly and we had a great time. Recommended.

The gamemaster gives you a bit of the story as a live intro inside the room (with a clever effect to reveal the countdown timer) but I couldn’t honestly call that a “live actor” in the usual sense.

There is one fairly elaborate dexterity puzzle of a type that I am usually terrible at, but by some miracle we got it on the second try.
It’s got one pretty tight space, but most of the room is visible from the starting central area. There are a number of things at floor level and at least one person must be able to operate a bellows.

“The Quest” is a unique room, with an original storyline and many creative physical/mechanical puzzles! The game isn’t linear, which can provide a bit of a challenge if that doesn’t suit your play style, but it was manageable once the pattern/clues of the room were discovered. The GM was great and only provided a nudge when we were really stuck. Overall - a good room!
The gameplay was nonlinear, which definitely provided a challenge at points. Once the pattern was discovered, the flow was a bit more manageable. There was a good mix of locks, mechanical/physical puzzles, and written puzzles.
The atmosphere was good, and props used in the room were immersive.
The GM and staff were very kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating

Save Oakenshire! 🐉 ⚔️ This room was really well done with tons of clever puzzles. We needed some hints, but had a great time. Highly recommend!
Fun, unique gameplay with tons of clever puzzles. I’ve done a lot of escape rooms and I wasn’t sure we were going to make it!
Staff was unbelievably nice and friendly. This might be the best place we’ve been to.

Great room! Kind of hard. Starts nonlinear but then moves to be linear. Wouldn’t recommend more than 4 people. Neat little game that has a fun ending.
