Star Trek Discovery: Damage Control [prev. Star Trek: Quantum Filament]

This was the most challenging of the four rooms we did here. We finished just in time but would probably be better with four people.

Fun room if you are a fan of Star Trek Discovery

There were some elements that didn’t function right and we spent a lot of time on a puzzle that didn’t up even being a part of the game. More frustrating than enjoyable.

Pros: -Space-themed, with neat console interfaces -tech puzzles (no physical locks) Cons: -One of the earliest puzzles the feedback mechanism didn’t work (apparently this happens a lot) so we spent way more time on it than we should have -Linear puzzle flow, but you have access to all of the interfaces and a lot of the clues for all puzzles almost right away. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to work on.

Knowing the theme and being a fan of the show helps a lot with this game… but not required. Great use of tech throughout which one would hope for in a spaceship theme escape room from the future!
