Me and my wife were blessed with a voucher for a escape room experience for two by some family members and decided to book this experience on a whim. We both have a decent amount of experience with completing previous escape rooms, and the theming of this room caught our attention.
While we enjoyed the theming of the experience, the room does feel a bit older and some of the set looked like it needed to be taken care of better. The puzzles were fun, but we were given lots of hints in solving them (although we had asked to only receive hints when requested). If you’re into escape rooms that utilize tech and don’t rely as much on locks, you might not enjoy this room.
Overall, I’m mixed. It’s a fun room but not one I recommend higher above other rooms I’ve completed.
Be blessed and puzzle on! 😁
The room had some fun puzzles, but was nothing too challenging. It should be noted that some of the puzzles were a bit hard to see due to dim lighting in the room, but they allow you to use your phone in the room so this can be remedied by using the flashlight.
While the design was cool, the room is quite old. Some of the elements were falling apart; the wallpaper in places was peeling and the carpet was coming off of its tape.
We were treated very kindly, our only point of contention was how often hints were given to us while we were playing even though we had noted to the GM that we only wanted hints upon request. Me and my wife still had a blast, but the frequency of hints propelled us through the room quickly (we had fifteen minutes remaining at the end).
Particularly interesting or different
No
I think the premise of the room was creative but puzzles revolve mostly around finding codes for different kinds of locks without much outside of that. I was hoping for a reference to some of the more well known tales of the Thousand and One Nights like Aladdin or Sinbad but those were absent.
There was not much story but I think the room has a lot of elements to immerse you in the related culture.
As stated previously, the room revolved more around the use of locks. There was little to no use of high tech elements for the game.
Some elements of the set were not properly secured (wallpaper peeling and carpet not secured).

Accessibility
Someone without the ability to smell scents (such as spices) should be advised to be in a party with someone that can use that sense.
Be noted it is in the Seminole Community Center mall near the Dillards store. We parked on the opposite side of the mall by accident and had to walk across the whole mall. If you park closer it is an easy walk! 😁
