Can you stop the world’s greatest hacker before time runs out? Nitr0 is the world’s greatest hacker, and early this morning a video was received at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Nitr0 informed the Bureau of his plan to release a virus that will drain 100 million United States bank accounts of over $75 billion. You are FBI Agent Alex Vargas, a fresh face in the Cyber Crime Unit. Fueled by optimism and a need for success, you determine that taking down Nitr0 would be the best way to climb the ladder to the top. You’ve received an anonymous lead that Nitr0 has been tracked to an apartment in Cambridge—when you get there you find out he’s setting you up and in one hour the FBI will trace everything back to you in this apartment. Can you find the code, kill the program, and escape before you have to go down for his crimes?

The laser light needed to complete one of the puzzles did not work. GM even came in during game play to try to fix it and replace batteries but it still didn’t work

Fantastic description, as it's not the most challenging game necessarily, but is still a great fun time. Although the somewhat non-linear nature can trip some groups up at times as well. Glad you enjoyed it, and we look forward to your next escape!

This was one of the easier rooms we’ve done. It was still a lot of fun and the puzzles were challenging enough to make you think. Not one of our favorites but it is still worth a try.

Overall experience was good. The game was ok but our game master was excellent. She was engaging, funny and energetic. This probably saved this rating from a thumbs down. The game, theme and concept were good but had a few areas where improvements could be made.

Gameplay

The experience was good not great. There were a few logic leaps but not bad. One puzzle in particular clearly needs work.

Really appreciate the fair review. The franchise has actually evolved this game into a newer version, although our specific location has the original, it does have a couple special elements not found at any other Escapology. We are thrilled to hear that the staff provided such an excellent experience, which is something we definitely aim for, and appreciate an interactive group (but isn't always welcome, so we do try to be careful).
