We’ve done a lot of escape rooms (25+) and I can honestly say this is in the top 5. The attention to detail was fantastic, the theme was awesome, and the puzzles were unique and well done. It was a fantastic experience and we look forward to coming back.

Very easy but family friendly room. This location has slightly above average rooms but the pricing is among the highest of any escape room we’ve ever done. For price/quality there are better options in the area like Escape This

Thanks for playing a couple of our games — we appreciate you spending part of your day with us! Operation Jingle Bells features a multi-linear structure, designed to keep larger groups engaged with several puzzle paths running at once. Like all of our 60-minute games, it’s built to be logical and thoughtfully challenging, with a play style that offers variety from room to room. Regarding pricing — we use a tiered approach so smaller groups can still book privately, though that does result in a higher per-person rate. For larger teams, we offer the lowest pricing in the area, and for average-sized groups, our rates are nearly identical to other options. Each game is fully private and includes a dedicated Game Host who’s with your team the entire time, with no limit on hints. Our rooms are also some of the largest in the area — and while size alone doesn’t make a game better, it does make it significantly more expensive to produce. We put a lot into every build, from fully custom environments and integrated tech to custom lighting, sound, and special effects — all designed to support a rich, immersive, story-driven experience. We strive to keep pricing as accessible as possible without sacrificing the quality of the experience. Also, thanks for shouting out Escape This — we really enjoy their games too! It’s always great to see players exploring everything Frederick has to offer. We think it’s a fantastic escape room destination, and we’re proud to be part of it. I loved this room. The theme was super fun and you felt like you just jumped into Christmas as soon as you walked in the door. I did it with just myself and my 2 kids (aged 10 and 12). We used a couple of hints but the hints were just telling us to go back and check our work. (I’ve been in some rooms where you need the hint because you are totally clueless - this room was clear on what to do we were just moving too fast in most cases and missing stuff) I think we would have done better in this room if we had another adult. That being said, we are all experienced at escape rooms so the kids were able to figure a lot out on their own. There were some cute setups in the room that I hadn’t seen before. Overall, a very enjoyable room. Highly recommend. Also the host was great. Nice energy and fun.

I love this room! It is so cute. The props and sets are so well constructed and I love that they have a holiday room all year long.

This Christmas themed escape room was great. We got stumped a few times but definitely check details. Loved the puzzles and variety of puzzles throughout the room.

10 escape rooms
This was our first ever escape room. My husband and I escaped with just a few minutes remaining, and it was the perfect jumping off point for us to really get into escape rooms. There was a good variety of puzzles throughout the room. I liked the "U" shaped design for larger groups. Everyone should have enough room and have a chance to find clues. Of all the rooms at Clue IQ , I think this one was best suited for families and beginners.
The props were all in immaculate condition and functioned without complications.

This was probably the most "open" room we've ever been in. You had access to all areas immediately and there were wide entries without doors or a change in floor level.

Typically, we wouldn’t be interested in holiday-themed rooms but we just knew Clue IQ would deliver, just like they always do! This room was extremely fun, witty, and a surprise. The puzzles 🧩 were great, the theme was engaging, and the difficulty was the perfect balance for our team of 2.
Super fun Christmas room!
