Passengers on pilgrimage aboard a trader ship, Evadere The Tempestas, on course to holy Terra. Pilgrims have been escorted to their quarters deep within the bowels of the vessel, upon entering they are told the ship will soon translate into the warp and the journey will begin. The ship stirs into life, players hear a distant rumble and feel a faint vibration as the engines wake. As the warp jump is made, the warp core and several ship systems fail, causing massive damage to the craft. Players have no choice but to leave and find out what has happened or risk being trapped in the crew quarters while the ship is slowly torn apart. Here the real journey begins... battle through the Warp Storm and escape the ever seeping Chaos. Created in conjunction with Games Workshop, Immaterium is a simultaneous cooperative team experience. For the first time ever, players will be able to jump into the world of Warhammer 40,000 and experience its myriad dangers for real. They will touch, smell and feel all areas of the ship and everything on it – including a talking Servitor. Up to five people at a time can immerse themselves in Immaterium, and explore the deepest recesses of a star-faring vessel facing imminent doom.

This room is amazing! Fully immersive, to the point of the floor literally shaking replicating the thrum of the ships engine. The puzzles were clever and all kept in with the theme so none broke immersion. Our host was incredible, controlling the servitor who gave helpful hints when needed! Truly an epic experience! While this didn’t spoil the experience I do feel it’s worth noting that there is no timer so it is hard to get a sense of how well you are progressing/how much time is left. I believe we did get a 10 minute message from our host though!

We know absolutely nothing about warhammer. Did that matter? Nope not one bit. We loved this game. Some great puzzles and the game play was great.

Very immersive and great set design. Know nothing about warhammer and yet still really appreciated the level of detail in this game, so if you are clued up on the game then this must be even better! We did have quitw a bit of time left so maybe would have been nicer if there were a few more puzzles, we had no clues either. Be warned it gets very warm in this game and you do need to crawl about a bit and be able to manoeuvre around small places. We were given cold water which we held to our necks throughout the game to not overheat, definitely wear cooler clothing if you can.

Absolutely incredible set design!! One of my favourite rooms of all time. This room is quite physical and flows well, would recommend for both beginner and experienced players alike.

Awesome room! Really atmospheric and a fantastic use of space. No combination locks like traditional rooms, a great story to follow. You don't need to have prior knowledge of Warhammer or even like it! The room is a great experience regardless
