An old legend tells of a house in Amsterdam. Deep inside a secretive society carried out gruesome ceremonies with striking cruelty. Some say they were stealing the souls of innocent people to summon infernal spirits. Nowadays the mayor is strangely unwilling to demolish the house and locals, all aware of the ominous whispered stories, refuse to approach it. And yet, here you are, the daredevils ready to expose the urban legends. But can you leave this house as easy as you got in?..... or will your souls be eternally cursed?

The Curse is the third oldest room at My Escape Club, but it still delivers a fun and engaging experience. We played as a team of five (work colleagues), all relatively new to escape rooms, and managed to do quite well, only asking for four clues—definitely on the easier side. The atmosphere was nicely done, with a spooky vibe that added to the immersion. There were some tight spaces, especially for a group our size, but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment. The puzzles were fun and well-integrated into the theme. Recommended for all players, especially those looking for a slightly eerie but accessible escape room.
