Some years ago the Cheney Manor potash mine shut down unexpectedly and the site was evacuated. Despite much speculation, the reason for closure remained obscure. Financial troubles… resource depletion… or worse, some kind of mining accident? Out of the blue, you and your team of investigative journalists receive an anonymous tip-off. The caller claims to work for a scientific research company that – until very recently – was using the mine to carry out a series of experiments that could have dangerous consequences… You’ve only got a small window of opportunity to sneak inside the mine and figure out what has been going on. This could be your chance to expose something huge, so what are you waiting for?!

An exceptionally well-designed room that leans fairly heavily into tech, but in interesting and innovative ways. Attention to detail with the theming is second-to-none, and every part of the room is in mint condition. It really shows how much care has gone into maintaining the venues high standards. The puzzles flowed brilliantly, with excellent signposting and some unique elements we haven’t come across before. I enjoyed how tactile a lot of the puzzles were, although nothing was particularly physically challenging. Gameplay is a mix of linear and non-linear, so expect to have to split up at some points. We certainly found that everyone was busy at all times. To ‘escape’ you need to complete a handful of core objectives, with any extra time left available to pick off the remaining optional challenges. This set-up works really well, and allows faster teams to solve the extra puzzles, while accommodating those with less escape room experience. Overall a fantastic room, that you should definitely add to your wish list!

Easily one of the best escape rooms I’ve played in the UK for a long time. The use of technology is fantastic and the set design detail is 11/10. Very well maintained and every puzzle made sense and worked perfectly. Even the toilets have been themed and look amazing. This is what I aspire my escape room to be! 11/10! 🙌❤️

A great looking room, really clean techy puzzles that were totally my vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish, unique theme, and the puzzles felt like they served a purpose.
