‘Aunt Annie’s Asylum’ was a fun, old-school escape room with a mixture of electronics and mechanical puzzles. The game flow was mostly there, and the designer did a good job of ensuring many different types of puzzles were employed within the experience. There were some leaps of logic or guesswork as to where the code will be inputted (no clues as to why or how this code relates to a specific combination lock or the story as a whole). It is my favourite Red Lock Room so far (have also played ‘Area 51’.
