Sinwood, England, 1954. As plenty of women go missing in both the town and its surroundings, frightened locals start to suspect that these events are somehow related to an old, abandoned hotel on a hill by the forest. According to folk tales about the area, the spot where the Victorian boarding house was built has been possessed by evil for centuries. Due to that, no citizen of Sinwood has ever come near the place… Finally, you arrive at the front gate. The porch, in the dim light of a dusty lantern, makes you feel overwhelmed by a whirl of conflicting emotions as you’re both curious and… suddenly anxious. Still, you decide to set foot in the building and face the evil lurking inside. Abandoned Hotel: Extremely good at direction. They have light sensors dictating what was useful and what was not. There was only 1 time in which we said “what do we have to interact with” and it was an oversight on our end. Incredible set design. Maybe slightly too easy of puzzles imo. But an absolute masterclass in direction of what to do next and how to solve puzzles. Amsterdamesque to say the least regarding its thriller/suspense and objective flow. Very scary for a “spooky ranking” - I would argue it borders on actively scary. 😱

Higly reccommended! Soo immersive setting and design. Awesome experience. I loved the game play, full of puzzles which arent disturbing. We played as a couple and it was fine. I wouldnt go with more that 4 people. If I will have a chance play this one again I definitely would!
