It’s 1945 and the Air Commodores at RAF Tangmere have secured a barrel of ale of the highest quality, which they shipped in secretly last night under the cover of darkness. Whilst they are planning a jolly good knees-up for the senior officers, you and the rest of the squadron face an austere Victory Day celebration. But the Air Commodores have been called away to Sector Control and there’s a window of opportunity to break in, find the stash and roll out the barrel!

Very unique rooms here and puzzles I’ve never seen before. Staff was amazing too. All three rooms we did here were great, this one was probably tied for the best.

There are so many great things about the games at Escape Plan. The use of wood makes everything in the room very tactile and aesthetically pleasing, like children's toys from yesteryear. It's a fun way of helping transport your imagination into the past through sensory interaction with material. Each time we've played a new game with Escape Plan the staff have been fantastic. The only downside we've found with these games is the order in which we've approached the games themselves. If you plan to be a completist and go one by one through the rooms we'd recommend starting with the rooms that are listed as being "easier" and then going up in difficulty, mostly because the scope of the games themselves increase along with the difficulty level.
Our GM was great. Very welcoming. Escape Plan GMs are consistently the best of all the escape rooms we’ve been to.

Really fantastic game - some good puzzles and happily my son is now at an age where he can do a bunch of adult level puzzles on his own (and arguably quicker than me) as there is a lot to do and much can be done in parallel.

A fun and unique premise. This is a gen-1 game that plays nonlinear and is packed with riddles. Puzzles are thematic but not particularly linked to any kind of story .

I've done a lot of Escape rooms and this is one of my favourites. Excellently designed difficult and fun puzzles felt pretty original. We needed some extra time to finish. Great times

A really enjoyable room - the puzzles were all so satisfying and we felt a great flow throughout with good music and a good sense of story

Escape Plan is very creative. They focus more on the puzzles themselves than on high tech stuff, which is fine for me, as i appreciate the challenge a lot.

This room is charmingly lowtech, but any escape room themed after breaking into the officer's club to steal beer is a winner in my book. Lots of creative puzzles, all mechanical, in a slightly cramped space. Note that if you did Battle for Britain in EscapePlan's previous locale, some of the puzzles from that room have a new room in Roll Out the Barrel, but there are lots of new challenges as well.

Some really novel puzzles we have not seen before, a very tactile room
I really enjoyed that all locks were labelled so puzzle flow was not interrupted. Not much finding keys for locks but actual puzzels
I loved that the staff noted your names down and spoke to you by name, felt very personalised

There was a section you had to climb through a window but once a team member was through they could open the door and let you through without a break in the atmosphere

It is in the cinema, don't question yourself. No outside signs but email instructions are clear
