Cold Case

We went 1.5 minutes into overtime for this one as we got stuck on one or two of the puzzles. One of the puzzles that was needed you had to have the cords in exactly the right spot for it to work, otherwise it was another great room. Absolutely loved how at the end of it they give you the statistics for how quickly you completed puzzles and show you the average time taken by other teams to complete each section. So of the sections we flew through and others we got hung up on. Some different puzzles in this one to what we have done before, lots of information to piece together. Staff member was friendly. Recommended.

Rumoured to be hardest escape room in Canberra and it didn’t disappoint. A must for seasoned escape room fans. 8.5/10

Fun room that requires a slightly different way of thinking as the goal is not to escape the room but to solve a murder mystery. Solid theming and cool puzzles requiring deduction.

This is a perfect example of a detective themed room done right! It’s becoming increasingly rare that a venue’s self-proclaimed “most difficult room” lives up to its name but Cold Case absolutely delivers on that title, encouraging players to scour through an endless stream of evidence and clues to find the killer, I loved the attention to detail and the genuine stimulation of a well designed, difficult escape room. Hell yeah. Though not the most clean set design, I felt like the gritty feel of the environment really added to realism of being inside an actual crime scene. The story was clear from the beginning and became so much more complicated than simply “catching a murderer” through clever puzzles, well-implemented story beats and live interactions with the Gamemaster, for me, it really hit all the right notes. One of Missing Klues best and right up there with my favourites in Canberra!

After the disappointing nature of the Pirates room we were a bit tentative entering the next room especially after being informed it was their most difficult. Thankfully, this room was much more enjoyable. A fun utilisation of the murder mystery genre where you could only complete the game by informing your GM of your hypothesis via walkie-talkie. The puzzles were definitely quite challenging with attention to detail really important for multiple sections. A bit of a confusing space with the crime scene area moving straight into a police station-style area, a little odd but not too worrying. A more satisfying experience overall and one maybe angled to the more experienced player.

I didn't enjoy this game as much as their others, unfortunately. It was still a good escape room, there's just a lot of great rooms around!

Beautiful room with plenty of puzzles to do and flow through, as you crack the cold case of the murder. Set and design and theme is well done and well executed, all the puzzles are within theme and make sense and story is nice. Hard room with a lot of challenges, loved it!

A fun room perfect for a family. The theme isn’t too creepy and there are no jump scares. (Sorry if that’s a spoiler) Puzzles were logical and challenging.
