In the deepest, darkest woods of North America, alleged sightings of Bigfoot are on the rise. The mysterious creature is only ever glimpsed at night, making this famously elusive beast hard to find – and even harder to capture! You’ve joined a team of avid cryptozoologists to examine the area for clues that might lead you to the monster’s lair. A nearby cabin has been set up by C.H.A.S.E.R (the Cryptozoology Hunters Acquiring Sasquatch Evidence Regiment) to help you in your search. Maybe… just maybe, you’ll piece the mystery together and catch Bigfoot unawares! Dawn is closing in. With only 1 hour until the sun rises, will you find the Sasquatch before your time runs out? Or will the evasive creature simply disappear into the wilderness, like it has so many times before?

8 escape rooms
Absolutely stellar experience start to finish. Hunting bigfoot was the perfect level of challenge for my group- most members are fairly new to escape rooms (having played their first or second two days prior) and myself having the benefit of working at one. It is rated 8/10 on their scale. The room itself was spectacular, incredibly well themed and very immersive start to finish. One very small jumpscare in the room, though I was too busy solving it to see it happen- all others in my group were quite startled though so it did its job. My only real complaint was the lighting levels in the room- while it was amazing having the diegetic light in the room (lanterns), the lighting levels got lower the further in you got. Not at all impossible to solve puzzles and in fact we did still do all of it at a very good pace, but we did struggle at a few points having only the two lanterns for the 5 people. If anyone struggles with low lighting I would highly recommend asking for extra lighting within the room or perhaps having a flashlight if yoy would still like to complete this room. This was my first room at mindshift after recommendation from a duo who came to my work and said it was among the best in adelaide- and after playing I am absolutely inclined inclined agree! If only I lived here and could play more of them right away. Danny was amazing start to finish and was lovely to chat to! Another staff member (unfortunately did not get their name, but they were wearing a red shirt) greeted us at the desk and when we came down they asked "are you guys from hunting bigfoot? Did you finish already?" In a very fun tone so they were also amazing despite us not having seen much of them prior.
Amazing game flow throughout. There were a lot of locks in each room but they were all different types (letter or number, and number of digits required) so we were never guessing which combo went into which lock.
Set design was incredibly done. The room was split wonderfully and all set pieces made sense in the world. Tech was also well concealed within the room and never felt obtrusive or even obvious. All the puzzles were also very thematic and did not feel as though they didn't belong in the universe.
Staff were very very kind and provided a lovely chat before and after the room. Very small hiccup with the tech occurred at the start but we were very early and the game master got us sorted very quickly and made sure the room was fully functional. Danny was our GM- he very effectively got us in the vibe and game some lovely feedback at the end!
The plot was very memorable- while there was only a spoken Intro before going inside and no music to heighten the vibe of the room, the room itself made so much sense with the story that it is impossible to separate the two.

To preface, we did escape, but the room is absolutely impossibly dark and it makes so many of the puzzles exceptionally hard to see. The difficulty rating is what it is from the darkness, not the actual complexity of the puzzles. One room in particular gives you so many locks that you spend half your time trying to find which number goes into which lock with absolutely no direction or rhyme or reason.
Didn't flow well at all, we worked out puzzles and then found the clue to get to that puzzle after already working it out multiple times
Ok design, if you can see it through how dark it is

A very good room with nice props and decor and atmosphere. Puzzles are pretty straightforward and most of them easy to get and solve. Just 1-2 to have slow you down a bit. Room doable with 2 people, without hints doable. Liked the dark and eerie atmosphere and the setting. Story could have been a little bit more immersive and puzzles a bit more according to theme and maybe a bit harder. Overall a very good room, though! Enjoyed it!!
