We did enjoy the idea of this room- a strong start with lasers to tackle! We didn’t really like the necessity of asking a CPU for information but it was ok. Storyline was good, but there was only one host at this venue, and it was very hot. We had to wait to enter our room, but the part that really spoiled it was where we’d become stuck and needed the host to help us, but they were otherwise occupied and we sat waiting for more than ten minutes- I even had to come out of the room because it was too claustrophobic and hot and we had resigned ourselves to not escape within the hour because we were waiting so long. The host was on the phone dealing with a future booking. We were infuriated tbh, she could have told them she needed to call them back later, it really spoiled our overall experience because we were well and truly not immersed by that point!
Gameplay
Fun gameplay but you did have to get clues from the CPU, nice gameplay twists and generally you could work most out with the CPU clues, but we did get stuck and need help from the host who did not respond to us at all, we were ignored for 10+ minutes and had to come out of the room to physically ask for help, at which point she was on the phone and we had to still wait. This made us grumpy haha

Set was good, props felt quite basic but were functional
Customer service
There was one host and we obviously weren’t the only group, so we had to wait while she did other intros, which we didn’t really mind. However when we needed help inside a very small room, which was very hot, we were ignored, and after waiting ten minutes actually came out of the room to try and find her face to face. She was on the phone talking to a group about a booking they wanted to make for the future. We were pretty grumpy about that because we felt like she could have called them back at a time when we weren’t currently trying to escape, so felt poorly handled.
