Japanese Massage Center | Tao Room Escape

Maybe the most fun I've ever had in an escape room and easily a top 10 escape game for me. This escape room has no giant waterfalls, no dinosaurs, no AI cut scenes, no animatronics, no potentially muffled audio, no complex backstory with questionable payoff, no puzzle that doesn't make sense in the world, and no awkwardly long actor interactions. There are, however, lots of silly adults in a Japanese sandbox doing the weirdest most ridiculous things together and laughing for 60-90 minutes together. I wish I could play again for the first time. 10/10. An absolute must play. TIP: You have the option at the beginning of to strip down to just underwear and use only a robe. Underwear is a MUST... but I wish I'd worn one more layer shorts. As a relatively large person, there were a few puzzles I solved one-handed while my second hand fought to keep decent in front of the GM cameras (oops!) (Also the fact I was the only one who took them up on the boxers-only offer didn't help...)

I have never laughed so much in an escape room. We played on chaos mode, and can't recommend highly enough.

THIS WAS A BONKERS ROOM, it was particularly fun to complete. Very unique puzzles. GM was brilliant and friendly. Completed in English - no issues with language, GM spoke very good English. Loved that they had flyers and plenty of recommendations of other rooms!

Great room! The game master was super enthusiastic, so much fun and too much hilariousness. We had a blast! Not the most complex escape room I've been to, but it was themed very well and super enjoyable! Many puzzles I haven't seen before ! Love it! They did ask you to change into kimonos, heads up there may be some climbing and jumping around... Likely OK to keep some non-undies clothes on under that kimono. Whatever you see fit

This escape was probably one of the funnest ones we have done as it had so much charm and creativity to it. Despite still maintaining a healthy undertone of pressure, this one somehow mastered making the entire experience legitimately enjoyable and playful. We laughed and smiled the entire experience. The puzzles weren’t too tough so you didn’t feel completely lost - and they essentially flowed well to the next. We were a team of two and were able to split up tasks for part of the game. Our game master, Ari, was committed to her role and was really funny throughout. Literally, we can’t recommend this experience enough. You have to try it; you won’t regret it and you won’t forget it.

Out of the 33 top games we played on a recent European escape tour, this room was my 2nd favorite. It's absolutely delightful, silly, novel, and you get to play in a kimono! It really stands out to me when I look back at our experience as something special. The puzzles centered on the element of play in a way that had us all laughing. It's a must-not-miss in the Barcelona area.

A highly recommended game for anyone in the mood for FUN! Packed full of silly and interesting puzzles with cool acting and interactions with the GM. We loved every second inside, including our surprise ending
