Sugar Rush

The game master (Julie?) was excellent.

Don’t be fooled by the cute decor and the sugary theme. This room is challenging. When we came in, our game master asked us if we wanted to do the easy version or the challenging version. My trio opted for the challenging version. There were a variety of puzzles that will tickle the senses so if you’re more brainy, this room is for you. It had a linear flow so just keep that in mind, in case your group is used to dividing and conquering. I would recommend 3-4 for this room, and I would even say that having a couple would be very doable here as long as you both move quickly. This is the first escape room where you can’t brute force your way into the answer and I love that! Great design choices and I’m excited to try out their other rooms. Our game master, Cali, was super sweet, and I’m glad she accommodated us on a Sunday night!

Challenging but fun. We had to think outside the box. I liked the theme, I loved the donut and the cupcake challenges. I wasn’t the fan of the scents, a little confusing for us. Nonetheless, I recommend this game to others!

This room is very basic in comparison to other escape rooms I’ve been to in the area. There were basic number and letter locks with one directional lock. This room is not techy at all. There was a decent amount of math involved, which they gave you a note pad for. One of the puzzles wasn’t very clear on how to decipher, so it did take a while to figure out because the way you did the math does affect the answer you have. It’s easy to get stuck on a puzzle you’re not yet ready to work on because there’s a lot of items that you have available to you at once.

After doing Sugar Rush, we have completed all of Legacy’s rooms. This room packs an unexpected punch. Don’t let the look fool you. Some of the puzzles actually had some depth. Some were tricky but not impossible. It was easy to get stuck on puzzles that is not ready to be solved. There were also some design choices I questioned. We experienced some challenges trying to differentiate what belongs to what. The puzzles were fun but theres missed opportunity for a more immersive experience.

A game with a lot of heart and we did have a good time. At the price point I’m afraid there are far better rooms to allocate your money to. Our GM was great and entertaining but this game is more suited for early 2016 escape rooms styles.

Such a cute room. My group agreed, it wasn’t that it was easy. There were some puzzles that we could definitely see tripping people up. We were very fortunate to work well together and ended up with the fastest time. Altogether, we absolutely loved our experience in this room! 🍦

This room was much better than we were expecting, and the puzzles were surprisingly challenging. We did crush the leader board, but don't let our time fool you, we all work at escape rooms. We were under the impression that this room was made for children, but honestly it was pretty challenging, we could see one of the puzzles taking typically 20 minutes to solve on its own. The GM, Zmar was the sweetest, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Good room to do with young kids (our 9 year-old enjoyed it). Some innovative puzzles that we've not seen elsewhere. One of the puzzles seemed like it needed some touching up for clarity; otherwise, a good batch of challenges. We solved it, but needed extra time and some hints (I marked a no escape because of this).

Remember to look everywhere, even through. Fun and whimsical, easy for smaller ones and easily scared ones, very linear and was a blast!
