Interpol is holding a suspect on a minor charge and will have to release them within the hour. You have reason to believe that this person is in fact the international jewelry thief known as the Velvet Glove, recently involved in the theft of the Crown of Hildegard of the Vinzgau. You have been sent to search the arrest site in order to find proof that they are indeed the Velvet Glove. You must move quickly, if Interpol is forced to release the suspect, they will slip away into the shadows. It has been years since anyone has been this close to the Velvet Glove, and this is just the break you have been looking for. The recent theft of the Crown of Hildegard means that this case will get international attention and a solid conviction. Before they are released in 60 minutes, find proof that this suspect is indeed the Velvet Glove and secure the missing crown. Only then will we stop the Velvet Glove from committing future heists and destroy the foundation of their criminal empire.

3 escape rooms

Family enjoyed it! The theme felt tacked on and the puzzles didn't have much variety. Ultimately, the goal is to unlock a series of lockers, which was a very exciting concept for my 8 year-old. Decent challenge and a decent way to spend time, but not a great bang for the buck

Gameplay

Very linear. Good flow to keep novices on track, but this made it a bit too easy to guess/cheat to keep moving

Atmosphere

Atmosphere was fine. Setup was generic and theme wasn't really leveraged in the story or game flow. I wouldn't call it bad, but it wasn't anything special.

Customer service

GM was friendly and passionate. A bit awkward, but fun!

Particularly interesting or different

No

Story

Story was just kind of "there"

Difficulty

Medium

Nothing mind-bending. Lock didn't open with one of the first puzzles which set us back a bit, but it popped open on a later attempt (likely user error)

Ideal number of players

4

Best for 2-4. There aren't many parallel tasks, so lots of standing around a single point

Scary

Not scary

Minimum age

6

8 year old helped on a couple puzzles and enjoyed opening locks. Any experienced kid as young as 6 may be able to contribute

Live actors

No

Physically active

Not at all

Accessibility

Some elements may be placed too high for someone in a wheelchair to interact with, but it actually felt more accessible than others
