The Mad Rapper

This is a really cool game. We had 4 adults and 3 kids ages 7-11. Everyone was able to contribute and have fun. The theme is this really cool retro/hip-hop music vibe. We did need several hints. The game master at times gave us hints unsolicited and I kind of wish they hadn’t done that. Some really cool props and rooms. Overall a really fun experience but I like their other room better.

Really love Scenario Escape rooms for their fun, creative and unique designs. Puzzles were creative and had good flow. Connections between puzzles were also good, and storyline was fun and light hearted. Did it with 6 people, but would reccomend no more than 4.

My 100th escape room!! Such a cool room with lots of hip hop references. Some really unique puzzles and had a ton of fun!

I’ll start by saying I see why most people love this game. The production is great and you can tell a lot of heart and soul went into this game. Anyways, here’s my unpopular opinion: while the production elements were amazing, the puzzles left something to be desired. Too many things relied on dexterity or on making jumps in connections, or were just a bit too tedious to be called puzzles. They were more of challenges to be completed. If you are the kind of person who loves the experience of cool or technical rooms, or loves general novelty in rooms, this one is going to feel amazing. However, if you are the kind of player who loves solving puzzles and the “aha” feeling of escape rooms, this one will probably feel underwhelming.

Wow, such a great room. First off, our GM Nate was the HOMIE! Such a good guy, spent some time talking through our favorite rooms in the area. This room will test you and make you think. Lots of puzzles, but all of them very unique and different than the next. You always feel immersed in the plot and have to keep your listening ears on! We completed the room with 2 people, we did ask for a few hints. I do not recommend 2 people unless you really want the challenge. Best done in a group of 4. Really hoping they keep adding rooms, this place is A+

Loved the concept here by Mad Rapper but it may not be to everyone’s taste. The escape room will take you to the world of rap music, which you can probably already guess, will involve music puzzles and some gang initiation. Creative is an accurate description for this room! The flow of the room is mostly linear but gets to be more non-linear towards the end. And the music! The music brought everything together for me and it was clear that this was a room given a lot of love from the design, the puzzles, etc. My group wanted this room to be our 100th and 50th escape rooms and we are so glad that we came to this decision. The owner of the room surprised us with little certificates to celebrate our accomplishment and that was the icing to a cake of sweetness that they showered upon us! I would highly recommend Scenario Escapes and Mad Rapper for folks looking to experience something different.

This room was really fun and it honestly makes me excited to see what other room's Scenario comes up with. There was a few elements in this room that I personally haven't seen in other escape room's which was a nice surprise and the puzzles were really fun to solve.

I enjoyed this room, but I imagine that it would not be to everyone’s taste. The surface theme involves making rap music, but the intro makes it clear that you are trying to join a gang. I thought that there were some good dexterity puzzles (which I usually don’t like) and there were several good environmental puzzles. By and large, though, the room is quite easy.

This was a cute game. Good for beginners and familys. Also bonus games at the end for any groups who finish early. This makes the game a little confusing as the bonus games distract you from the real game at some points.
