248 escape rooms
Rating: 4/5 - One of the best Egyptian rooms I've played, great immersion and tech Pros: ➕Fantastic set, decorated floor to ceiling, looks very much like a tomb ➕Multiple rooms to discover ➕Interesting room intro ➕Lots of well integrated tech, a few locks but none in the tomb area since that wouldn't fit the theme ➕Good use of lighting and audio which add to the immersion ➕Game-play flowed well, puzzles were a good difficulty and weren't unfair or illogical ➕Just about everything in the room felt like it belonged in the universe ➕Very tactile, lots of props and objects to interact with Room for improvement: ➖Last puzzle is a bit anti-climactic, it involved searching and which killed the momentum ➖Wish the puzzles had a bit more variety like the Capone room, there is a lot of numbers/symbol/word puzzles While not what I'd consider a top level TERPECA room since it doesn't do anything innovative or particularly unique, it is still a wonderful experience and worth driving a couple hours here to play this and Capone. I personally preferred Tut because I like the more fantastical set but I liked the puzzles more in Capone. I'd recommend a team of 2-4 enthusiasts.
