Ex-prisoner Joseph Wendle attempted to escape Standfast Jail. Over the five years he was held there, he created an elaborate escape plan which he executed right up until the final stage, when he was caught red-handed attempting to steal the Warden’s keys. Unfortunately, prisoner Wendle was transferred to a high security unit in Paddock Wood but, fortunately for you, he has left his trail of intricate clues and codes to help lead to your freedom. I loved this room! The set was done so well and it really felt immersive. It was mostly a very mechanical game with a lot of locks to open which I personally really enjoy, the game also works in a linear way which I prefer. We went over by 2 minutes annoyingly but they allowed us to escape as I guess they could see how close we were. Quinn who ran the game for us was great, really friendly!

Another excellent room from Clue Cracker. We enjoyed this one even more than the last and whilst there were a lot of padlocks there was so much more to the game with some clever little physical bits thrown in. Again perfect hosting letting us work some of it out without clueing too soon. Really recommend

A good example of taking a theme that’s been done a million times but making sure yours is the best. A really immersive set which goes beyond anything I’ve seen in other escape rooms of the same theme. There was one puzzle involving a radio which I thought was particularly beautiful (but then again I work in radio so I’m biased). A solid room well worth playing.

Very strong room from Clue Cracker. A multitude of puzzles to challenge different types of skills, and a great clue system makes for a really enjoyable experience. Whilst we did have a couple of struggles during the game, we managed to get through each puzzle feeling as though the answers were logical and well thought out. The set was great as aways and each section of the game felt distinctly different.

A classic escape room theme executed very well! Amongst all the new high-tech escape rooms, sometimes it’s nice to take things back to basics and unlock a bunch of padlocks! Had a great experience in this game and thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay, including a hilarious clue system. Very well paced, full of surprises, and a great use of the space. Would definitely recommend!

this game is definitely well thought out from set design to puzzles, it flowed really nicely! i’m surprised jail break type rooms aren’t even more common; i would like to play another to see how they compare but clue cracker are great & this room isn’t an exception!
