Overall, this was a fun escape room that is easy for newcomers but not SO easy that it feels like a waste. I have escape room experience but my 3 family members had never done one before, and we successfully “escaped” with 10 minutes to spare. HOWEVER, this room seems to be lacking in some quality control. A box opened up too early when I lightly played with it and the staff had to put us on pause while they tried to fix it, but they could not. We had to skip a whole puzzle because of this. Also, the GM had to get on the intercom two other times to tell us how to manually release a hatch that didn’t open automatically, and to warn us about being careful with a piece that falls too easily from its placeholder. I didn’t like that they had to interrupt the fantasy so many times! But still, a fun story with an easy-to-follow procedural of puzzles and clues. I still recommend it! It’s just not perfect.

A box opened too early when I played with it, but I was not forceful with it. It just opened when it shouldn’t have. Once I reclosed it, the it would not open again and the staff had to pause us to try to fix it, but they were unsuccessful. We had to skip that whole puzzle. Another unrelated hatch also did not open automatically when it was supposed to, and someone had to come on the intercom to instruct us how to manually release it. Broke the fantasy a few times.

Great beginner room. Well designed, great theme and environment, everything worked well. It was fairly straightforward, nothing particularly new or difficult. Perfect for someone new to escape rooms.
Flowed very well, but nothing particularly new

Amazing escape room, has theming from many different Wizarding Worlds, taking heavy inspiration from the Harry Potter world as well as Wizard101. Extremely linear, you will not be holding onto a object or key for long, and generally will immediately know where to use it at. Do be careful about closing certain doors as you may not be able to open it again and the GM will have to do it for you, (not a gripe because there’s not really any reason for you to close this door the kid we had with us was just messing around and closed the door) heavily recommended for anyone, even for first time players of escape rooms.

Some things are high up which can’t be grabbed by younger kids, but there are definitely things that kids can understand and put together as well as help with.
