Mission's Breakout: The Ultimate Bank Heist

Pretty fun, we did it with three people, six would be too many. The room is big, but not that big.

I’m biased when it comes to heist-themed escape rooms and I love a good immersion story. The puzzles were on the challenging side because it does get you to think outside of the box. There were a good mix of Gen 1/2 puzzles. This is my favorite room out of all the rooms that Mission Escape Games has so far! Would highly recommend! Our team of five made it out by asking for one hint! When they shared the hint, we steamrolled through the rest of the room.

Good escape room for beginners or young kids. The puzzles were extremely easy (for me at least). I did this room with two people total and we had about 20 minutes left. I do feel like the theme and set up of the room was good, but not as well built out as other places I’ve been to. Our host was so kind and welcoming- no issues there!

Rather than just a classic bank heist, I liked that this one had a heavy mafia theme. Some elements seem a little worn but still working fine. We made it through fairly easily with just two of us, but if your group is less experienced, I’d recommend at least three.

Solid bank room made better by an awesome GM who cheered us on! Bank rooms aren’t always our strongest, so it’s great when a GM is on our side during frustrations. The puzzles were neat and well-themed here. The transitions were also a blast! I don’t know that this is the best room at Mission, but it’s a good non-horror choice for them. And you can bank on it!

The theme was well executed and I felt like they did a good job of slowly giving out the pieces you needed to solve the puzzles so the momentum throughout the solve just kept increasing!

Fun game with lots of puzzles. GM and staff were super nice! Can't wait to go back and do the other rooms!

Another fun room at Mission Escape. It took us a while, and a hint, to get the first puzzle moving along but once we got started, the puzzles flowed well into each other. The set is very immersive and fun! Some elements could use to be refreshed and show wear of a well-loved escape room. Otherwise, the elements and puzzle solving is fun and fitting to the theme of the room. We completed this room with 2 people and 2 hints (plus a nudge from our GM).

I’ve heard great things about this room, but the overall experience lacked for me. It appeared as if the room had not been updated in a long time and was visibility run down in some areas that made it difficult to determine what was part of the story versus what was just the impact of time. i could tell there were some cool moments that leaned into the immersion, but it just didn’t hit given the state of the room. some of the puzzles were cool, but it just wasn’t the most enjoyable experience. maybe with a fresh coat of paint, this room could return to its prime!

Great room! Nothing crazy new or unique but this linear room makes good use of space and special effects to make it a fun experience. GM Sal was awesome and super chill about me doing it solo. I loved how the room would darken to indicate something was happening somewhere in the room, so you should look around for what changed, and that helpful indication felt the flow from puzzle to puzzle feel super smooth. Nothing crazy, but a great experience nonetheless.
