Deep in the almost inaccessible part of the Amazon region is an almost 200-year-old closed gold mine. After years of proceedings, archaeologist Indy Johnsson has finally managed to get permission from the Brazilian government to reopen the gold mine. Indy has always believed that the many myths circulating about the mine were absolutely not made up and that there is still a lot of gold in the mine after the partial collapse in 1824. Although the mine is also surrounded by dark and inexplicable forces according to the locals, the gold rush is increasing rapidly. Indy must act now! What he's looking for is a team of adventurous miners who dare to descend deep into the dilapidated gold mine to find out if the stories of the undiscovered, But beware, the old mine also has many flaws, surprises and dangers…!

The Boat from Escape World was not an enjoyable experience. We didn’t manage to escape in time, which was a mix of our own inexperience, poor puzzle design, and hints that weren’t well-timed. By the time the clock ran out, we had barely made it through half of the game. Out of the four rooms I’ve played at Escape World (The Grand Prix, The Boat, and The Inca’s Doom), this ranks as my least favorite. It might be an option for newcomers, but only if there’s nothing else available nearby.
