The Hangover

The room was super fun and so detailed! Your players truly have to play as a team as the beginning throws your team for a loop. At the end, you really have to pay attention to finish the game.

Excellent room with a fun theme. There is an overwhelming amount of stuff in there to process so we took quite a bit of time to get out.

One of the hardest rooms we've ever done. The room requires 4 people minimum but they kindly modified one of the puzzles so it would work with 3. We needed a bonus 5 minutes to escape. Fun and funny puzzles throughout, and the end sequence was epic - very high production!

We had been looking forward to this room for a while when we planned the trip to Buffalo. This room tried to do a lot with limited space to make you feel like you were in the hotel from The Hangover. They most nailed it and it’s a very adult room so go with friends that have a great sense of humor.

This room was the third room of theirs that we have done. Great room but definitely not kid friendly.😆

This was definitely a unique theme. Really cool set design. A 3 way split start which all commenced into the main room. Even with 6 people the room felt well balanced with the number of puzzles.

After playing their other two rooms, I was curious to see how Escape City would manage to make this theme as fantastical as the other two, and boy did they deliver. The set was superb (possibly the best I've ever seen), the hint system was clever, and there were many strong design choices (particularly at the beginning and end) that made the room feel special. We played as a team of 4 with two newbies on the team and got out with a few minutes of bonus time. My primary criticism of the room is that there weren't clear indications with sound/light/etc that a puzzle worked and triggered something else to happen. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for another astounding room by Escape City Buffalo 👏🏼 (tip for future players: two players start out in different rooms than the others. We put our strongest puzzlers in those rooms, when we should have put the weakest puzzlers in there. I definitely recommend the strongest puzzlers stay behind while others start in different rooms.)

I loved this unique theming! The puzzles and diversity were fun. Great for splitting up and working in groups for teamwork. Need strong communication in this room! The only thing I didn’t love was that things were not obvious when mechanically opened by a trigger object.

This room was very easy to complete, probably because the clue system is set up in such a way that you can't lose. This is probably one of the best decorated rooms i have been in. We were a group of 4, and got out with about 8 mins to spare, but also we would've gotten out anyway the way this experience is designed. This room was hilarious especially is you are a fan of the hangover movies.

Talk about an experience... you will be recalling this room for years to come. Exceptional set coupled with great puzzles mixed in with a ton of laughs. Made the drive just to do this room and we were not disappointed.
