The federal prison of Alcatraz, surrounded by the waters of San Francisco Bay, housed some of America's most dangerous and notorious felons. Few have unsuccessfully tried to escape, and even more attempts continue despite the ominous odds. As guards, your responsibility is to maintain the security of the facility, but that’s not always an easy task with a careless Warden in charge. After returning from his rounds to his office, the Warden discovers that his keys have gone missing! As rookie guards, you can make your mark early in your career by finding the missing keys before any prisoners use them to escape. Search the prison, find the keys, and save the ironclad reputation of Alcatraz! Prison protocol indicates that you have 60 minutes to secure the Warden's keys or the prison will have to go into lockdown. If you can figure out how and why the keys went missing, you may even be able to stop a group of prisoners from escaping the island! Get to work, guards!

This room and the whole experience fell it came out of a box picked up at a discount store. The set was prison themed wallpaper on all sides of the room with a locked toilet and steamer trunk. Oh, yes, there was a dartboard with two magnetic darts on two numbers. Oh, yes, you do need those two numbers to open a lock but since the darts aren't permanently attached it was the first thing my nephew moved when he entered the room. Thank goodness that someone in the room made note of the original position and was able to remember. The puzzles required massive jumps in logic and I never felt there was anything that pointed to the information as being important to the game. The theme being a prison gave us so many extra numbers to deal with and it ended up most things were just massive time sucks. Also, the clue system is a joke. When you need help, you need to ring a doorbell and wait for someone to make their way to the room where they ask you where you are and where do you need help. I know this is a massive chain and it appears everywhere, but I have not been brave enough to try a different room.
