Worst way to spend your money, if you want a scary room that isn't escapable, great room.... but, if you want a room that is super and scary and escapable, not it.... ESCAPE ROOM 0/10 - HAUNTED ATTRACTION 10/10

This is more haunted house than escape room. If you’re like me and you think I don’t like scary things but I love escape rooms so I’ll do it, don’t do it. This is my warning to you. If you like scary things and solving puzzles, you’ll probably have a pretty good time. Just know what it is going in. It’s scary.

Coming from Kansas City & being a Manager of an Escape Room in that area, this was enlightening at the differences other companies have. This facility could use a HUGE upgrade in terms of customer service & satisfaction as well as offering promos/discounts.
While pieces are fun, I think there’s a ton of areas that could be greatly improved.
Customer service definitely was lacking in the end. Not at all impressed that you’re rudely ushered out at the end.

This may be a long one. As a haunt, I can imagine this place is incredible! As an escape room, it falls so short. I first played years ago. It’s held up pretty well over all, as far as I could tell. Warning: You’re in the dark most of the time. Pretty consistent that puzzles are just made so much more difficult with the extreme lack of light. It aids the scare factor 100%. It kills the puzzle vibe. You get one flashlight later in the game. A huge relief, unless you have more than one player playing… It feels extremely linear, with the idea that a few scares can satisfy a bigger group. I felt like I just watched most of the time. They do use small red herrings. As well as an area that feels like it should be used once, but you need to go back to multiple times. As for puzzle play, at most three puzzles had pieces to find at one point, but the mostly linear play makes it feel like the puzzles are created for groups of 2-3, while the space and experience is designed for more. It really does start to feel like a haunt, with puzzles added. There’s very little discussion afterwards, as they expect you to play again. One of our group noted that it felt like they were pleased we failed. One last note: the white noise and game sounds much overtake any game guide hints. We had to ask to repeat them multiple times to understand what was communicated. Overall, I’m sure it’s an awesome haunt! It’s a terrible escape room.
The flow was terribly designed. It feels like a linear game for two, with some extra scares from actors to “entertain” the rest.
As far as set design and immersion, it’s holds well. Warning: very dark. Some clues very very hard to see.
A lock we misfired on. And a safe was out of batteries. We were first told it was our fault, then found the safe to be out.

Interesting, yes! Great story. Unique vibe!

It was mostly difficult due to the lack of light. It didn’t use the lack of sense as a puzzle factor, but just a difficulty matter. Does not feel like a team game at all.

Unfortunately they lean on scare factor and the atmosphere of the haunt to entertain the rest while a few can solve puzzles at a time.

Love the scare factor. But it varied between the two times we played it. The first time was way better.

We had a safe out of batteries.

Loved the first time we played. Lacked the second.

A crawl space a few times.
The sounds were terrible. The speakers were not clear and a lot of white noise masked any game guide help. Had to ask multiple times to make sure we heard correctly.
