Completed this room with 4 people in less than half an hour. Simple but fun room to start with, it had some good puzzles and flowed well. Would recommend for first timers!

Did this room as a team of four during our escape room trip in Gold coast. We've done several pirate/ship themed rooms before. Overall the room flowed well and we enjoyed the puzzles. Aesthetically the room felt immersive and on theme. Was probably a bit on the easier side and helped warm our brains up for the other escape rooms we did, might not be challenging enough for the super experienced though.

this was a fun and creative room that incorporated elements some of you may be experienced with and some may not. i don't want to say more on that for fear of spoilers, but i do recommend the room to everyone. Our game master was Ryan, and he was exceptional at his job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable and at ease. This room is a good one.
Medium
Mechanical
The majority of the room was mechanical, but there are a few nice tech aspects as well.

Not scary
this room is not scary, but for small children, there is a skeleton visible at one point. however, very small children really shouldn't be doing escape rooms in general.

this room requires bending over a couple of times.
mobility: this room is large enough to be wheelchair friendly, but there is one area the game master would need to help the differently abled person access something via a different route. that shouldn't be a problem though. β hearing: i have profound hearing loss and was able to enjoy this room thanks to a wireless bluetooth microphone by oticon. a walkie-talkie could work similarly. there is one section that may require you to speak through a wall depending on who is doing what and when. β sight: the room is not as dim as i thought it would be. i would consider this medium lighting rather than low lighting. there is the need to see a puzzle from a slight distance of 6 or 7 feet, and there is a color aspect to the room.

Lost Locks is an exciting escape room venue for the Gold Coast. They constantly iterate and improve their rooms, and they actively work towards delivering new experiences with each game. βBuccaneers Bountyβ is the perfect example of their iterative process. Despite being open for years, the team continue to tweak and refine their game as players continue to play it. The resulting puzzle flow is delightful, accessible and strongly connected. The range of puzzles contained within βBuccaneers Bountyβ are balanced to enthral first-timers, while experienced players can enjoy stellar iterations of familiar puzzle types within the pirate theming. The aesthetics of βBuccaneers Bountyβ were meticulously designed and built. Upon entering the experience, the warm, earthy scent of wood encompasses players and immerses them immediately within the hold of a pirate ship. From there, the rest of the game only deepens that immersion. It was a bunch of fun to play, and is our favourite pirate room to date.

Having played all the rooms at Lost Locks, Buccaneers Bounty was my least favourite of the bunch. While the room was dressed excellently and fit the theme to a tee, some of the puzzles themselves weren't the best. Certain skill based puzzles that aren't enjoyable to complete and eat up time in the room can be a killer, especially when the lighting is dim and the puzzle is quite low to the floor. Could use some tweaks but far from a bad experience.
