Least favorite room out of the 19 completed on my trip to Seattle. The theming and decorations were amazing; however the execution of the room was poor. Some of the puzzles made absolutely no sense (even the game master said you literally just had to guess) and many of the tech aspects did not work which hindered our progression.
Let me start by saying I tried to contact QuestFactor by email about 1.5 weeks prior to my trip and never received a response. I tried calling many times (about 10 times over the course of 5 days) and kept receiving a “this number has been disconnected” message. They also have an online messenger which does not work.
They finally answered the day before we wanted to book our room and answered the questions I had.
When we arrived for our booking, the guy at the front was very unapologetic and said “yeah, I heard that’s been happening.” He was very stoic and was not a fun game master at all.
What added insult to injury was at the end of the game when they have you pay your balance and try to get you to pay a tip!! It’s suggested 18%, 20%, and 22% gratuity! I chose to give them none because I did not think it was deserved. I do not intend to return to play the rest of their rooms. Go to Locurio, Fox in a Box, or Hourglass instead!!
