Can you escape ... with your lives? Stories about the old dilapidated house at the end of Cranston Street go back for decades but no one knows what really happened there. Supposedly the house was built in the early 1900s and the first death there was during construction. Rumors say that anyone who ever lived there suffered and the last people to live there were a young family back in the 1970s whose 8 year old daughter Michelle died under strange circumstances. A year later, to the day, her baby brother died too. Her parents, unable to live with the grief of losing both their children, took their own lives by ingesting poison. People say the family’s spirits are trapped in the house. You and your friends decide to explore the house to find out once and for all if the rumors about it are true or not. Will you make it out alive?

This one seems like it would be a cool and scary experience but it’s not scary at all. The puzzles were solvable but a bit limited due to the room design. There was one puzzle in particular that I really loved but the rest were a bit bland. Room design needs a 100% revamp! It didn’t feel like I was in a spooky house at all. I wish there were webs in the ceilings, the room was darker, and the story fell more in line with the spooky name of the experience! Definitely a lot of potential here and lots of space to move around! I really hope they revamp this and make it cool!

We played a beta-test version of this game, so the kinks weren’t all worked out yet. Still, a good game with some really novel twists. Thumbs up.
