29 escape rooms
Compared to the Breakout closer to home (Greenville, SC), I can at least say this was a better venue. Our GM paid close attention and was very helpful. The room was fine, done as a family with my wife and 2 children (17 and 11). There was one scare of sorts, but the puzzles were typical Breakout fare. At least twice, we had issues inputting an electronic code, but our GM was paying close enough attention to confirm we had input it correctly and told us to try again. That's what pushed this to a thumbs up review.
Gameplay
Atmosphere
They were fine. Very minimalist, but adding an extra cell or something would've been an easy bump here.
Customer service
Easily surpassed the Greenville, SC location
Particularly interesting or different
No
The storyline could have been interesting, but honestly should have had more.
Story
Starting handcuffed was novel, but there was no blindfold. Will I remember it? Sure. Will I talk about much besides the handcuffs? No.

Couldn't imagine putting more than 4 people in here. At 5, someone is standing around doing nothing.

Not scary
Minimum age

Highly child dependent, as there are mentions of dismembered fingers.
Was anything broken?
Yes
One lock wasn't reset, but the GM gave us instructions for what we found. One keypad was missing a key, and the safe was "sensitive" and took and extra attempt with the right code.
