Permanently Closed - Your team have been wrongly incarcerated! Having been paid a large sum of money the warden refuses to let you leave the facility. You've been working on escaping for months and now is the time, get out the cells and break into the medical room to disarm the security systems. You need to be quick though, as the prison warden will be back in an hour!

Get ready for a split start unlike any I've seen before. Communication is key more than ever, you are actually playing in the real cells (the venue was a former courthouse) that used to be used. There's a lot to do so I would advise a party of 4 but having said that we were literally on the last puzzle when the timer expired but this was a lot of fun and, for my money, the best game at the venue.

A unique set (set in an old prison cell) we enjoyed this game. Some good puzzles and the game flowed well.

Great setting, good game flow with in theme puzzles all made for a fun room. We did find it fairly straightforward and prefer taking a bit longer but enjoyable nonetheless

A LOT to do for 2 people but the setting in a genuine old police cell block is great. At the start of the game you have to work together to free people which have started the game locked in a cell, but there are also solo tasks for them to do, which left those in the corridor frustrated & unable to help much for a time. The prison theme has become very popular & there are so many of them that they often struggle to be diffidently or exciting, but the venue for this lends it a credibility & an ambience that you just can’t recreate in the same way if it’s not real. Top marks for making the absolute most of the venue’s natural assets.
You start of in separate areas and are heavily reliant on someone in a cell figuring out their part of the puzzle whilst the people in the corridor have limited challenges to complete at that point. This left me feeling frustrated & a bit left out whilst my friend was working frantically.
This is set in a genuine old police station, court house & prison built in 1844 which was still used as a nick until 1973 and a court until 1990.
