1 escape room

The GM was super friendly and helpful. The room itself was pretty small, but the use of space was good. We had 3 people (2 adults, 1 teen) and it seemed just right. It might have been cramped with more people in the room. The puzzles were fun, albeit a bit old school, as there were many physical locks that needed combinations solved. We are a moderately experienced escape room group and was able to escape the room with only 1 requested hint (there was 1 unprompted hint when we had a code correct but the lock needed "resetting") in about 50 minutes (time limit of 60 minutes). Overall we had a great time.

Definitely an old-school room; most of what you'll be doing is figuring out 4-digit numbers and then trying them on different locks. But I found the room very fun, and there was one puzzle I found particularly charming. I wouldn't plan a trip to London just to play this room but if you're in the neighbourhood, it's well worth stopping by.

Gameplay

A pretty good number of puzzles packed in a very small space.

Atmosphere

This may have been the smallest room I've ever done, but they make good use of the space. The theming is fun and effective, albeit not spectacular.

Customer service

Our GM Ellie Mai was great. She was very energetic. She only gave hints when asked, and they were exactly the right nudges to get us back on track without spoonfeeding us the answer.

We played as a team of 2 enthusiasts and found it manageable with the occasional hint. One more set of eyes might have let us dispense with the hints. However, the room is TINY and I think more than three people would feel cramped.

I think kids would enjoy the vaguely medieval theming. There's nothing inappropriate.

Accessibility

Color vision is required for at least one puzzle. It is a VERY small room and I doubt a wheelchair would fit. In any case, to enter the venue, you have to go down two flights of steps.
