Though the themeing is simple, this was a very, very fun room to experience. The puzzles were clever, and there was an exceptionally awesome moment in the room that you *need* to just see for yourself!

Gameplay

A decent chunk of the puzzles were CRUNCHY. Really got our problem solving skills into high gear with this one.

Atmosphere

Nothing too fancy here. The story takes place in an office (which really, offices in general aren't fun to be in nor are very exciting environments), but it's the *puzzles* that really make this room shine.

Customer service

Love Envy! She is a fantastic GM and very responsive with everything.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

A puzzle involves video tapes!! 📼 My nostaglic heart fluttered seeing a VCR, hahah.

Story

Story was clever. You are tasked to find out why the office is in such disarray, and is more than meets the eye.

Difficulty

Hard

HARD! Still very doable, but be prepared to really dive deeper into solving them. One of the few rooms we've asked for hints for.

Game tech

Mechanical

One puzzle involves an actual (oldschool!) computer.

There are some tighter spaces to move through in some spots, but I don't think it'd be a deterrant for anyone with mobility aids.

Yes

Clearly marked on outside of building, and signage inside the building leading you to Puzzle Works.

Parking

Easy

Plenty of street or lot parking for free around the building.

this was my favorite room at PuzzleWorks. Enjoyed all of the aspects, great flow from puzzle to puzzle and GM Tylan provides the energy, humor and fun before and after to bring it all together and knew exactly when and what clues we needed. Highly recommend.

This is my personal favorite at PuzzleWorks. It is admittedly a little less shiny and new compared to their other rooms (the set isn't particularly awe-inspiring and it has too many keys and combination locks) but so many of the puzzles are truly unique and fun to solve. You really need to do some abstract thinking in this room. I also love the retro sleuth theme as someone who is a big fan of mystery novels and detective style video games. The story is so fun to unravel and it has many subtle moments of iconic PuzzleWorks humor.

Lots of puzzles that rely on parts of your brain that rarely get used in most escape rooms!

The room is small and best for a smaller group but just make sure everyone is experienced/strong with puzzles.

The room itself is not scary but there is one very scary moment.

Accessibility

One puzzle relies entirely on color. A few puzzles rely on teamwork from one room to another so they would be difficult for people with limited hearing to communicate. There is another puzzle that relies on speaking/hearing.
