A multi-level 75-minute immersive horror escape room experience that is a spiritual successor to our much-revered game “The Gilman Hotel”. Gilman had a hell of a reputation and we hope to take you deeper into the story and mythos to discover the grim truth behind The Esoteric Order Of Dagon. The Order has taken refuge in this abandoned house on the outskirts of Arkham, taking locals as their sacrifice. If the rumours are to be believed, could you even stop them? Do you dare enter?

Panic Room have clearly lavished money and care in creating this set, which is the most impressive of any of their rooms. Bizarrely, though, they have scrimped on some very basic upkeep. A number of puzzles in the game depend on a printed journal you're given-- but the journal has now faded almost to the point of illegibility. Plus, the rooms are dimly lit and cannot be traversed without two handheld lanterns you're given-- but one of the lanterns stopped working ten seconds into the game. With literally twenty quid worth of upkeep, this could be a top-notch game. Unfortunately, until Panic Room can be bothered to take a few simple steps to make it playable, I can't recommend it.
The GM was friendly and helpful but the lack of upkeep on crucial props represents awful customer service by Panic Room.

Some fairly cramped spaces. Our team of 3 fit well, and a team of 4 would be fine. Wouldn't recommend more than that.

Somewhat
Some crawling required by at least one team member; some steps and sloped surfaces.
VERY dark. Multiple puzzles require reading small print in dimlight. Even with my bifocals on, I had to get a younger teammate to read certain things.

Loved this room…and a great pick for #300. Every door I was opening, I was doing so with EXTREME trepidation. As a Lovecraft fan, the story was a fun one to be immersed in…and the set design was top notch. This was one of my faves of all the ones I’ve done at Panic Room.

I’m sure some of it was due to me playing solo, but the overall atmosphere made this one of the creepiest games I’ve ever played.

Perfect level of difficulty…even had a couple aha moments

I went back and forth on whether this was spooky or scary. Definitely a spooky and creepy atmosphere, but so immersive that, playing solo, I was legit on edge.

A fair amount of crawling (although you can pass this off into one person) and done stair climbing.
Definite mobility barriers (crawling and stair climbing); also, the journal that is included has some inserts that are extremely faded and hard to read.

“... possibly "The Panic Room’s" most ambitious project to date, and it is quite a sight to behold.“
