Manny was awesome! And This room was so much fun. There are even jobs that are assigned to you uniquely to you. And only you can do that job. Well, you would have to go and check it out so you can see what I mean.

This escape room was pretty innovative with their unique puzzles. My group and I managed to by pass some puzzles through process of elimination but it didn’t detract from the experience. One thing I didn’t know was that the escape room time limit is dependent on how much you conserve your “energy” (you’ll understand if you opt to do this game). Therefore, your game can run beyond 60 minutes or be cut short. This non-linear room is a great for small group of enthusiasts!

My partner and I heard about this room after doing the Neighbor, one of their other rooms in this location. When we heard role-based gameplay, we were intrigued! Needless to say, the split-start did not disappoint. We had Manny as our game master and he was so awesome. He assigned everyone a job that had unique puzzles and items assigned to them. The concept of "running out of fuel" instead of time is also something that I haven't really seen other rooms do! The puzzles were great but it did seem a little small space-wise for our group of 6. The minimum for this room is four and even with the split start, some of the puzzles feel simplistic in hindsight. I think a couple of experienced enthusiasts could clear this room. Can't wait to go back and try their Missing Seasons room when we are back in San Diego!

A split start like no other, assigned roles, a great set and some very unique puzzles combined to make this a really fun room. I like split start rooms where you still need to work together and this room has that. I absolutely loved several of the puzzles. One was so clever and simple that it definitely makes the list of top puzzles. Our GM, sorry, forgot her name, was a lot of fun.

Surprise ending and an interesting split start.

4-6 is probably best. We played with 3 and did fine, but we each took a couple of roles.

a game filled so many unique items and situations it almost makes you forget everything you can do in a normal escape room and leaves you almost back to a brand new escaper. i’d recommend this room for any player new or old!

We’ve done over 30+ escape rooms across the country and all 4 of us STILL 5 years into our escape room addiction say this is our favorite room we’ve done. I cannot express how we loved this room. It has different elements in it that make it a whole new experience for escape room peeps, even for people like us who love trying new rooms and places. I tell everyone about this room specifically. They’re friends who are retired engineers who own and made these rooms by hand and their passion for fun and challenges show in their rooms. This room is a role playing room that needs 4 people. You get split up and have to each work with your characters’ knowledge/career to beat the room. Highly recommend!!!

Vision is needed for this room for at least 2 of the 4 characters. But wheelchair accessible. No colorblind elements. Claustrophobia or afraid of the dark people should avoid this room.

I really wanted to like this room. It gets so many good reviews/Recommendations on Morty, TERPECA & REA. In addition, the room requires a minimum of 4 and one of us was a newbie (first room), so I really thought it would be a awesome for him. The vibe, atmosphere, immersion, room decor we’re all great. Some of the puzzles were good. Having each of the players assigned a role in specific task was cool, and I wish that the game had invested more in that, where each person at some point in the game, got to step up and solve a puzzle while the other people helped. Did not really work out that way though. What was not great was the flow: there were times, we needed nudges. Not hints on how to solve a puzzle, but where to go from our current step or what was the next logical step that would lead us to the next puzzle. That is not a good thing. In addition, the biggest problem: I was genuinely shocked when we got out in what seem to be a very short amount of time. As it turns out, we were able to bypass three puzzles. We just solved around them or skip them, and that should never be. Post-room, we found ourselves telling the newbie not let his experience sour him on future escape rooms.
Sigh. see my main review. Flow felt stunted & we constantly needed judges. Too many bypasses.
I liked it. It felt like we were in a mine, semi-Fallout.
Always welcoming

Urethane was interesting. I like that we were all assigned different responsibilities and roles
I think we were trying to find some lost artifact?

One item did not work requiring game master to come in. Slow itself is broken because puzzles were able to be skipped.

There are some color clues and a puzzle requiring you to check out different areas between two rooms, but relatively overall accessible

This room was just okay. The ambiance was fun, but the gameplay was too easy for four people. Two would have made this more of a challenge. The game master also gave us hints CONSTANTLY, making it so that we never really had a chance to puzzle things out on our own or tackle a challenge. At one point, in attempting to solve a puzzle, an element of the game got stuck and we had to leave the room while they attempted to fix it. They did not pause our time while they took 15 minutes to do this, and even then our group escaped with 15 minutes to spare. I could see how maybe 5 years ago this was a cool room, but it feels simplistic and unsophisticated now. I don't recommend.
Mechanical
some tech, but not well-used.

One of our favorites of ALL TIME!! Best prop ever. Clever and thoughtful. Great staff. Obviously put together by people who love escape rooms.

It was fun, having the team split at the start and the metal detector were a nice addition. Some puzzles were not needed so we back tracked. The end of the puzzle was slightly disappointing to me, but overall enjoyed the unique aspects of the game. Ended with more than enough time remaining.
“It was filled with unique interactions, innovative tech, and a multifaceted narrative.“
