Outer Space: The year is 2320. Draden Briggs, Bounty Hunter scum, has kidnapped you and your friends. He’s transporting you to the planet Xionia and forcing you to work in the copper mines for the remainder of your days. It’s a 4-year space journey, but you are traveling in cryosleep, a form of hibernation that makes it feel like only 8 hours. You awake early due to a malfunction! Briggs is also coming out of cryosleep and the timer is counting down 60 minutes until he wakes. Your mission is to free yourselves from the locked cryocells and take control of the ship, then set a course for your home planet before Briggs wakes up.

Let me start with the positives: -The price is good. -The room looks cool. -Almost all locks are magnet/trick locks and not just key locks -Checkin process was easy. -Intro video was high value. -Game master told us before we went in the first lock was tricky and to hit the button to bypass if you could not figure it out in 5 minutes. We all bypassed it because no one could get it to work. -Attached to arcade, bowling alley, and has a bar/restaurant. Neutral things: -It’s a smaller room. 4 is really ideal. Any more gets cramped. -I think they let us finish the room after time ran out. Not really sure cause no one spoke to us to tell us. -Lighting is poor so you need to know that. I think you can use your flashlight on your phone because they didn’t take them or tell us otherwise. Now the not so good parts of the experience: -There was loud noises the entire time so you can’t hear when something opens. -No lockers/baskets/area for keys purses, phones, etc. -We are told not to force things open but then were told to twice because it opened but didn’t and we didn’t know. -Game master pretty much just ignored us the entire time. -Clues we got were weird and sometimes one word, like “door” or “console”. -First room I have done with a clue limit but we didn’t exceed. It was like 10 clues. -Several parts did not work or work well. -We ran out of time and no one said anything to us or tried to get us. So we kept working. -Eventually we did something and the room made a lot of noise and said congratulations. -Still no one said anything to us or came to get us. -The game master had shown us how to get out in case of emergency so we eventually let ourselves out. We stood there about 1-2 minutes and no one came out so we just left. How to make it better: -COMMUNICATION! -Best rooms I have done, the game master asks ahead of time, do you just want clues when you push the button or do you want nudges throughout. -Better clues. When the clues are as hard to figure out as the game, it’s disheartening. -Game master must always communicate with the room things like times up, getting close on clue limit, etc. -Get the players at the end and offer pictures, get feedback. We came for fun. It is ok to not escape. But it is disheartening to have no idea what is happening and to feel abandoned.
One of the strangest experiences
Checkin was easy and friendly. GM was quiet and dismissive.

Bare bones set design. Crowded room. Don’t have more than 4 people.

Cryosleep escape room started cool, but then the staff gave us hints we didn't ask for and counted it against the number of hints we were allowed. The experience was very disjointed. You'd complete one task, only to then have no idea what to do next. The storyline was confusing. We completed what we thought the objective was within 30 minutes, only to then be confused what our next objective was. In the end we spent 22 minutes on the same puzzle and the staff told us with "oh I'm sorry, that should have worked". What a frustrating waste of time.
Very disconnected
Fantastic theming, great potential
They were noticably bored and unhelpful

Awful. No direction. Doors open up and you have no indication whatsoever that they did so. You do one thing and then you have zero clue what’s next. Very bland.
