Upkeep. It’s soooo important in escape rooms and there were a lot of things that were completely falling apart in this room. Overall we had fun completing this room, but it definitely needs some tlc.

The set design here was a hit and miss for me especially with their other room “The Dungeon” being one of my favourite rooms for set design. The first area was good, but the rest just didn’t make sense/seemed thrown together/didn’t even seem to tie into the theme. I can definitely see the effort that was put in, and there are aspects that I liked, but it just didn’t do it for me.

Was anything broken?
Yes
I think the biggest disappointment in this room was the lack of upkeep. There were many aspects that were absolutely falling apart, especially the scrolls. They looked to be a standard 8x11 piece of non-laminated paper, so they could’ve easily been printed off again and replaced.
