Look - it wasn't my favourite room but we enjoyed the experience. There was a lot of reading required but none of these readings contributed to the story in the bigger picture. Most of the puzzles were tricky but not in the sense of "ooo that was hard but good". It was very much, I don't know why that was the answer and it didn't quite hit the mark each time. The props needed to be maintained or upgraded - visible wear and tear from usage. Red herrings weren't too bad in this room, but I hate red herrings in general so I wish there was less (/none lol). We wouldn't have gotten a few of the answers if we didn't get a clue from the GM, which I think is a poor design if we need help to move forward. The GM was friendly however and enjoyed his energy. Atmosphere was good considering the theme though- ooky spooky!
Fine. Story doesn't link very well but just enough
Spooky! I'll give them that

I wouldn't say it was necessarily hard. It was more confusing than anything.

Overall this room was a disappointment. Very cheaply put together, things did not open when puzzles were solved, and the puzzles in the room lacked cohesion. The story was not strong in this room and the puzzles did not support or further the narrative. This room was marketed as difficult and we were also told during our briefing it was riddle based, although after playing I would argue it was neither of those things. Similar to the other rooms, this room is not soundproof which meant we could hear the group next door. Although this didn’t affect our gameplay specifically, it did ruin the immersive feel of the room. Overall, I’d recommend you play one of the other two rooms for a better experience.

This would be relatively accessible for most groups, although there are a few colour based puzzles

Well, I guess the ratings speak for itself. This room was quite something. The setting could have been nice and story alright, but how it is executed here it all just seems to be randomly put together and didn‘t really make sense at all. Puzzles and then solutions didn‘t make sense, lots of distracting lights and symbols, story didn‘t flow and was not cohesive and the supernatural theme was really poorly chosen. Nice props and decoration, though, and the staff is really friendly too. Atleast gotta give them that :)
