The leading lady of a successful production collapses dead on opening night. The theatre has been closed ever since. There are stories of someone that still haunts the stage.. Could it be her?

A fun room to start our Tasmania escape room journey, Ghost of the Leading Lady pleasantly surprised us with well themed puzzles and an entertaining (albeit grim) storyline. The puzzles flowed quite nicely and we never felt ridiculously stuck. Everything was signposted well with no great leaps in logic, it was clearly well thought out. A cool set with actual theatre chairs alongside puzzles that really fit within the theme made this a highly enjoyable room. The staff were lovely with Jack talking us through all of our questions at the end and Roger the dog providing great company.

A room made with lots of love, the Ghost of the Leading Lady has plenty of charm which mostly stems from its unique storyline, we had a wonderful, albeit short lived time. Definitely on the easier side, it’s a very straightforward experience for beginners which rewards exploration and observation, I would recommend playing more than one room while you’re there. The venue itself is also very wholesome with enthusiastic staff, a spacious layout and Roger the dog (a very good boy). If you’re in Tassie, Entombed is definitely worth checking out!
