In the year 2036, you woke up on a gloomy morning, wondering why you just had that same dream again. In the dream, you were trapped in an abandoned hospital with a blurry visual of a door labeled room #057, on a remote island. You went through a series of mysterious clues before you were finally saved by a rescue team. However, the virus that you picked up from this place had wiped out your memory. Wait, was this a dream or was this part of an actual lost memory of yours 30 years ago? After going through a tremendous amount of psychological struggles, you've decided to recruit your team to follow that blurry memory of yours, to find the way back to the abandoned hospital again in order to dig out the facts behind your long lost memory...

Room 057 was a great room that introduced me to the Trapped location in Calgary! There is a unique and fun story with an immersive set which helps add a boost of adrenaline as you solve your way through the room. It had been a while since I've played this room so the details aren't completely clear, but I remember the puzzles flowed well and were satisfying to figure out. It was tricky but fun, and as usual for Trapped I would say they thrive in storyline and overall immersion!

Fun room! Was a little scary and I think more could have been done to make the room fun but it had some cool puzzles. Passable escape room, I’ve done worse and done better, this one is pretty middle of the road

I was really impressed by the production and puzzle quality of this room. This place really puts a lot of effort into the overall experience.

Gameplay

Generally good. Lots of parallel puzzles to solve. One keypad didn’t work for us despite trying a couple times. Others have had this issue, so be aware that asking for a hint might be worth it if one key pad doesn’t seem to have a solution.

Atmosphere

Well themed room. Some of the props appear as red herrings. The videos and digital interactions are a great touch.

Customer service

Staff was fantastic. Made you feel welcome and well informed going into the room.

Difficulty

Hard

It’s not too often we need more than one or two hints in a room. This one definitely challenged us.

The room was fun, themed well, and had elements tailored to the group. The 2nd room felt a bit tedious and had a number of repeated puzzles, and a keypad that was finicky and wouldn't take the codes first try. Overall a fun room though
