The Inquisition

Not our cup of tea. Not a whole lot to do in this one, minimal puzzles. Most of the time is spent searching for things (keys). Wouldn’t play with more than 2-3 people (tight spaces, linear, not much to do) It sounds like there is one cool effect in the room, but we didn’t get to see it because one of the keys opened a door it was not supposed to so we bypassed that part of the game. The gamemaster told us about it after, but would not let us see it because it would add additional reset time… which seems pretty lame? We payed full price for the room (+gamemaster tip) and got out early, so it seems silly not to let us see the whole room (the “tech” error was their fault after all). Overall, I would say play Da Vinci at this location, but maybe skip this one.

The room was immersive and the puzzles made sense. Several of the locks were either broken or already open when we got in. It was challenging to figure out what went where for that reason. It did not have many puzzles and we got out much quicker than expected.

This room was recently moved to the new Middletown location and they have definitely updated any glitches, the game ran perfectly. The theming was gently creepy, fun/campy but not too scary. The puzzles were unique but not overly complex, so I wouldn’t suggest this to a group of more than 4 people. We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to check out the other rooms.

Hear me out. I LOVE Lara’s labyrinth, but this room was just not it. I think in its prime, it was likely very good, but the puzzles kind of were wore down and they have not fixed it. Also, the puzzles were just kind of weird? Don’t want to spoil, but kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. We finished in 41 minutes as a group of 2. I hope they fix this room when they move locations! I am looking forward to their new locations and new rooms they bring.

This was a decent room, excelled in decor and theming, but the puzzles were quite weak imo. Even with a group of two, the room took us around 40 minutes to complete, so I'd definitely avoid bringing more than two. The room is definitely spooky, but not too frightening, pretty much anyone could manage, but I'd avoid bringing young children. Many aspects of this room were broken or not working when we played, but considering the location is now closed they were probably just not motivated to fix them. I don't think the broken puzzles really impacted our playthrough though, my biggest complaint is that there just wasn't enough content to take up an hour. If you care less about puzzles, and enjoy set design and horror theming it's not a bad room at all.

Very cool set design and props really makes this room very immersive. Fun experience that can be spooky and really makes you feel part of the storyline.
