We played Mindcrime at Backspace Escape Rooms with a group of five friends, two of whom were doing their very first escape room. This was my third visit to this location, having previously completed Black Box and Orient Express. Overall, the experience was really enjoyable—largely thanks to the perfect team dynamic. Our mix of skills complemented each other so well that we solved everything smoothly and managed to escape with 18 minutes to spare. While the room did show some signs of wear and tear, everything functioned properly, and the puzzles all worked as intended. One small drawback was that previous doors stayed open, which made the progression slightly confusing at times. Recommended for both newbies and experienced players—just keep in mind the experience is a bit dated in terms of maintenance and polish.

Escaped in the nick of time - did this with one of my teams of 8. The puzzles are…puzzling, you really need to pay attention to the minutes of details. Definitely great for working on those ever so underrated fundamental team skills: collaboration, cooperation and communication.
