Mount Olympus is under siege, and only you can save it! Embark on an adventure through the world of Greek mythology in Sky Odyssey escape room, a medium-level puzzle game of legendary proportions. Blending humor and drama in a 70-minute escape room experience, Sky Odyssey is suitable for teams of 4-10 children or adults. Much like Hercules, many tasks will await those brave enough to explore Mount Olympus, so while the game is not designed to be particularly challenging, a larger band of adventurers is recommended! Eons after their defeat at the hands of the Gods of Olympus, the ancient and evil Titans have broken free from their prison and waged war on the world once again! Zeus and the other deities have been turned to stone, and the Titans have laid siege to Mount Olympus itself! Summoned by Gaia, one of the few Titans loyal to Olympus, you and you band of explorers must travel on a hot air balloon to the land of the deities, where you must activate a magic weapon that can turn the tide of conflict before it is too late. Prepare yourself for a divine adventure, and work together to gather the magical artifacts that will help you repel the Titans and save Olympus. Along the way, you will meet a colorful cast of characters drawn straight from the lore of Greek mythology, enlisting their help in your race against the clock. Feeling especially daring? Even after saving Olympus, there await several bonus tasks that will test even the most experienced puzzle solvers. Those clever (or lucky!) enough to complete these additional challenges might find discover an even more tempting reward…

Absolutely beautiful room, the only downside was the flow of the puzzles, but there's enough time allotted for you to both enjoy the spectacle of the room and even tackle the bonus levels. A little bit of Greek background helps understand the story and references, but aren't important for the puzzles.

This room had so much potential but fell flat in the execution. The theme is great (Greek gods and goddesses), the room had high production value, and there were enough puzzles to keep a group of four working until the very last second. However, this is where my review may deviate from the experiences of others. I feel like the room could use a revamp - with some of the puzzles not working like they should, audio / light cues showing up later than they are supposed to, and the story flowed all over the place. They did give us a map at the beginning, which laid out all the puzzles that we were going to do but as a whole, the tasks did not make sense to the overall theme. I want to love this room - I am still very much in awe of how much they accomplished with the space that they were given but I think I will settle for a like. For Maze Rooms, having done some of their rooms now, this is one of the more memorable rooms for me!

Loved the set design of the room a lot…pretty interactive, unique, and creative compared to some other escape rooms I’ve done. It’s nice and big and good for a large group. I’m not the biggest fan of the game play however. The game’s puzzles were linear but the puzzles around the room could be “activated” at any time. Meaning you could press a button and an audio would play while more audios around the room could be playing at the same time. It was a bit overwhelming at certain moments.

Atmosphere was great but some of the puzzles were faulty and the story was a bit weak. There were several occasions where we had to call the GM about helping us out when we already had figured it out it was just the puzzle not working for some reason. Otherwise it was pretty good but woukd keep the faultiness in mind

This game was amazing, was a bit skeptical going in as the reviews were mixed however I think the GMs have made recent improvements. Many past reviews complained about the game being confusing so the GMs provide you with a laminated paper containing the order in which to solve the puzzles - without this sheet we would’ve been completely lost. Puzzles aren’t hard at all so don’t overthink and just follow the spreadsheet in the right order from left to right. Also look very clearly into chests and things that open because there may be more than one item in there that gets missed. Overall loved this escape room definitely some wow surprise moments that lead to other areas of the room which took the room to another level. Has to be one of my favourites for sure!

I was looking forward to this and I think I would have loved it. But… My group was too big, too loud, and didn’t share information enough. We needed a leader to maintain order. I repeatedly would come across something and be told that someone else had already solved that. And only half of the time, they were right. We ended up solving two or three of the more interesting puzzles through dumb luck. (I mean like, Shaggy leaning against a bookshelf and accidentally opening a secret passage kind of dumb luck.) I ended up having a pretty annoying time, but I blame the group dynamic more than the room. There were many elements which I was able to experience which pointed to the room as a whole being a great experience.

I sensed that if I had been doing this with a smaller, more focused group, the puzzles and challenges would have been exciting. But in a large group of eager and large guys, it was just a chaos.

We did this with a boisterous group of 7. That was way too many. There are many audible clues which would have been great had we been able to hear them over our own group talking to each other.

Family friendly. The puzzles were very unique. My 8 year old had a blast. The room is very impressive. The room has steps and some areas that should be avoided by clumsy people.

This room is epic!!! Why are you not playing it right now??? Hot air balloon? Epic props? I was like a kid on the Mount of Olympus of candy stores; play it now homies!

A super large room with an amazing set and detailed decorations adorning the temple! I had a lot of fun with the talking statues, clever use of elevation, and lighting effects. Plenty of great moments to be had with a great Greek theme to boot! My biggest qualms were the lack of understanding flow. To put it into perspective, we are handed a cheat sheet of the entire list of tasks that we must complete to beat the room. This includes bonus tasks that are on the list because very few teams get to it in the 70 min timepan. It felt weird having a walkthrough and yet still not following along, which is perhaps an issue of its puzzle design and obtuse complexity. The set, while gorgeous, was a little worse for wear. And worse yet, some inputs didn’t work reliably or at all. The GM helped us with some parts, but it didn’t alleviate our frustration. All in all, the room is an odyssey of titanic proportions, and there is a lot to love. The fun factor was high for me, and the walkthrough helped, though again, I wish the room didn’t require a guide just to complete. Despite its shortcomings, Sky Odyssey is much more than a tragedy!

This was such a fun game. Top 5 for sure!!! First of all the room was incredible, there were so many amazing details and as a fan of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses I really appreciated how much my prior knowledge helped but also those who aren’t as versed would be able to solve the puzzles as well!!! My only complaint is one of the strings on the harp didn’t work, hopefully they can fix that but still a top notch room! NJ was a fantastic GM and even gave us a little treat at the end that I am very grateful for!!! So many fun puzzles and even a few surprises underneath as well 😏
